I love 2 year olds! They do the funniest things. Of course they aren’t always trying to be funny & parents don’t always see humor where I do, but they ALWAYS make me laugh. (Sometimes hysterically) Sweet Miss K. just turned two and is full of life! She is so precious and growing WAY too fast! She will soon be a big sister and is very excited to have her baby brother here soon! We know she is going to take the job very seriously and is going to be great at it! We love you! Happy Birthday!!
I love this season, preparing for Christmas. It allows me to spend time with my favorite RPT families. We get to see how much the kids have grown and find out what they are into now. And sometimes we get the privilege to meet those who have flown the nest and otherwise wouldn’t be able to partake in all the fun. It was so great catching up with you guys again! Here are a few of the youngest family members. Gonna save the family portraits for a Christmas surprise. Blessings….

Heaven smiled down twice for this precious family. A beautiful girl and a handsome little man. We had double duty on snuggles and sweet baby smells…it was a special day for us. Mr. P already has an attitude toward his sister
Not wanting to be ‘touched’ while he sleeps. We finally got him settled in and snagged some beautiful shots. He weighs almost 2 lbs more than her, so HIM laying on HER wasn’t an option! It just took us a little while to convince him of that.

Am I the only one who is in SHOCK that the kids are starting back to school? Where did the summer go? Well, maybe I was a little preoccupied with getting the new studio ready. Did yal hear that? NEW STUDIO!!! Ok, so I am a little, ALOT excited! I have been wanting to plug in for so long, but just haven’t had the space. That will no longer be a problem! We have a ton of room and some great things coming down the pike. But first things first…Where are we? Our new studio local is 18 E. Carl Albert, McAlester. The wonderful people at Weddle Signs, staked our claim to the building this week and you can’t miss Chloie’s billboard! Amazing sister! So, enough of that…Let’s talk Back to School!
We are hosting a Back to School Bash at RPT! Mark your calendars, call the studio to hold your spot, get one step ahead on your child’s safety, and eat some chocolate-chip cookies! We thought it was a great time of year to get some quick updated shots of our kiddos. We already do a ton of shopping for new outfits, they have cute accessories (ie. backpacks, lunchboxes, purses, sports gear, etc.), new haircuts and excitement over the coming year! So, let them pick out their favorite ensemble, (anything will work with this casual set design), and don’t forget to bring their backpacks, books, siblings, whatever you want to throw into the mix.
With your sitting, you will receive a Kids Safety Kit. This kit will include 3 ID cards (with a current portrait from the session, their current weight & height, DOB, parental information & contact numbers), a fingerprint kit, and a DNA sample kit. Our plan is to keep one of the cards on file at the studio and 2 will go home with you. (For our daughters extra 2, we plan on providing one to the school and keeping the other in with our personal papers.) This ID card will provide needed information in the case of an emergency. There will be a sitting fee of $10 to cover the cost of the kits. You will have the opportunity to place orders on the portraits and we will have some packaging options available those nights only.
The portraits above are sample portraits. These will help give you an idea of what to bring and what to wear. (Pretty much anything will work with this set.) We are accepting all ages, with the exception of 0-12 months. We feel it is important to provide this service to all of our clients children, not just the ones old enough to be in school.
The Bash will be Friday, August 27th and Friday, Sept 3rd, from 5-8 with sessions starting at 5:30 & ending at 7:30. (We would appreciate you showing up 10 min before your scheduled time to keep things flowing smoothly.) We only have availability for 25 kids each night! So, if you are interested, don’t wait! I love red heads! Everything about them…the freckles that usually accompany, the bold disposition, the sass…yal who know and love a red head, know exactly what I am talking about! Miss Madison is all that and then some wrapped into this beautiful package. Her and I got to hang out, talk. It is always such a joy to spend some one on one time with my girls. Some little things I learned in our time together…She is a ton of fun and had me laughing, a lot. She loves photography. She was awaiting her orange belt in Tae Kwon Do, to be awarded this past Monday, which tells me she is athletic and committed. She is a good friend, compassionate and caring. :) Thank you Granny, for trusting your sweet gal with me. I pray these last few days drag. Blessings….
